How do I create an account?

Tap the 'Register' button on the login screen, enter your email and password, and follow the prompts to set up your profile with basic information like skin tone, body type, and style preferences.

Is StyleMate free to use?

Yes! StyleMate offers a free tier with limited features. You get 5 outfit searches and 5 shopping recommendations per month. Virtual try-on uses AI credits, which you can top up when needed.

What are the subscription plans?

We offer Basic (₹99/month), Premium (₹299/month), and Unlimited (₹599/month) plans. Basic includes 50 outfit searches and 50 shopping recommendations, Premium includes 200 each, and Unlimited removes those limits. Check the upgrade page for the latest details.

AI Features & Privacy

Why do I need to accept AI consent?

Our app uses Google Cloud AI services to process your images for features like virtual try-on and wardrobe analysis. We require explicit consent because your images will be processed by Google's AI systems. This consent is required by privacy regulations and ensures you understand how your data is used.

What happens to my images?

Your images are processed by Google Cloud AI for analysis and virtual try-on generation. Google may process and store images according to their privacy policies. StyleMate is not responsible for how Google handles your data. You can delete your images at any time from your profile.

Can I use the app without accepting AI consent?

No, AI consent is required to use AI-powered features like virtual try-on, outfit recommendations, and wardrobe analysis. Without consent, these features will be unavailable. You can still access basic app features like viewing saved outfits.

How do I withdraw my AI consent?

You can view your consent status in the My Account section. To withdraw consent, contact us through the Contact Us page. Note that withdrawing consent will disable all AI-powered features.

Wardrobe Management

How do I add items to my wardrobe?

Go to the Wardrobe tab and tap the '+' button. You can take a photo or upload from your gallery. Our AI will automatically detect the item type, color, and other attributes. You can edit these details if needed.

Can I add multiple items at once?

Yes! When adding items, select 'Pick Multiple Images' to upload several wardrobe items simultaneously. Each item will be analyzed individually by our AI.

How accurate is the AI detection?

Our AI is trained on millions of fashion images and achieves high accuracy. However, you can always manually edit the detected attributes like category, color, pattern, and style to ensure accuracy.

Can I delete wardrobe items?

Yes, you can delete items from your wardrobe at any time. Simply tap on an item and select the delete option. This action cannot be undone.

Virtual Try-On

How does virtual try-on work?

Upload a full-body photo of yourself, then select clothing items from your wardrobe or saved outfits. Our AI will generate images showing how those clothes would look on you. Results are typically ready in 1-2 minutes.

What kind of photo should I upload for virtual try-on?

For best results, upload a clear, well-lit, full-body photo where you're standing straight and facing the camera. Wear fitted clothing to help the AI understand your body shape. Avoid busy backgrounds.

Why was my photo rejected?

Our content moderation system automatically blocks inappropriate images to maintain a safe environment. Ensure your photo is appropriate and clearly shows you in suitable clothing. If you believe this was an error, contact support.

Can I use virtual try-on with saved outfits?

Yes! You can select from your saved outfits when generating virtual try-on images. This makes it easy to visualize complete outfits on yourself.

Outfit Recommendations

How do I get outfit suggestions?

Go to the Suggestions tab and tap 'Generate Outfits'. Our AI will create outfit combinations based on your wardrobe items, style preferences, skin tone, and body type. You can specify occasions or color preferences.

Can I save outfit suggestions?

Yes! Tap the heart icon on any outfit to save it. You can view all saved outfits in the Saved Outfits section and use them for virtual try-on later.

How are recommendations personalized?

Our AI considers your profile information (skin tone, body type, style preferences), your existing wardrobe items, and fashion trends to generate personalized recommendations that suit you best.

Payments & Subscriptions

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Razorpay for secure payment processing, which accepts credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets. All transactions are encrypted and secure.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from the My Account page. Your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

What happens if I don't upgrade?

If you don't upgrade to a paid plan, you'll stay on the free tier with limited monthly usage. Your data, wardrobe items, and saved outfits remain accessible.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The subscription price you see is what you pay. Optional AI credit purchases are clearly shown before checkout.

How do AI credits work?

Virtual try-on uses AI credits, and the credit cost varies by try-on type (single item vs. full outfit). Credits are purchased in packs after you activate the platform subscription, and you'll see your balance in the app before you generate a try-on.

Technical Issues

The app is running slowly. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app, checking your internet connection, or clearing the app cache in your device settings. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app.

Why aren't my images uploading?

Check your internet connection and ensure you've granted the app permission to access your camera and photos. Also verify that your image file isn't corrupted or too large (max 10MB).

I'm not receiving notifications. How do I fix this?

Go to your device settings, find StyleMate, and ensure notifications are enabled. Also check that you haven't disabled notifications within the app settings.

How do I report a bug?

Please use the Contact Us page to report bugs. Include details about what you were doing when the issue occurred, your device type, and screenshots if possible.

Account & Data

How do I change my password?

Go to My Account > Edit Profile and you'll find an option to change your password. You'll need to enter your current password for security.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can request account deletion by contacting us through the Contact Us page. This will permanently delete all your data, including images, outfits, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.

How do I update my profile information?

Go to My Account > Edit Profile to update your skin tone, body type, height, weight, style preferences, and other profile details. This helps improve AI recommendations.

Is my data secure?
